Dr. Shilpa Malik, a board-certified Otolaryngologist/Head and Neck Surgeon, believes in developing collaborative patient relationships in order to offer personalized treatment plans and empower patients to actively participate in their healthcare. She understands that the foundation of providing exceptional patient care is deeply valuing the trust a patient gives their surgeon and engaging in communication that provides great comfort to a patient at their most vulnerable moments.
Dr. Malik grew up in Columbus, Ohio and was a Valedictorian of her high school class. She graduated with Honors from The Ohio State University and in the top quartile of her medical school class from The University of Toledo College of Medicine, where, along with her MD, she also received a Master’s degree in Medical Sciences. Dr. Malik completed her five-year residency program as a chief resident at West Virginia University and subsequently worked in private practice in Arizona for several years.
Dr. Malik is very pleased to join the San Joaquin Valley community along with her husband and daughter. She enjoys spending time with family and friends, cheering for the Buckeyes, and now the 49ers. She is excited to take advantage of all that this beautiful area of the country has to offer, including the outdoors and also urban areas in Northern California.
